I currently hold an Assistant Professorship at Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden). My research is focused on development and application of bioinformatic and statistical methodologies to solve problems in integrative genomics and molecular epidemiology. Examples of on going studies include, development of prediction models for cancer subtyping and prognosis based on clinical sequencing data, integrative modelling of multiple types of molecular phenotyping (omics) data to characterise molecular mechanisms of disease and development of Bayesian methods for prediction of intervention effects from observational data.
I currently have two open postdoc positions in my group at Karolinska Institutet. These positions are suitable for candidates interested in developing a career in the intersection of statistics, bioinformatics and biosciences. The successful candidate will pursue research in the area of integrative genomics and/or clinical sequencing.
