My research is focused on development and application of statistical methodologies in the area of molecular epidemiology. I’m particularly interested in multivariate prediction models for biomarker discovery, integrative analysis of data from multiple molecular phenotyping (‘omics’) platforms and applications of robust statistical methods for semi-automated analyses of large data sets. The biological focus of my current research is directed towards modelling of molecular mechanisms associated with obesity and related metabolic disorders.
I currently hold a Medical Research Council (MRC) Fellowship in Biomedical Informatics and I’m based at the Department of Statistics and at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at University of Oxford.
